Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Melton drives through with a takedown into Ortiz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Melton takes a little break here. Ortiz wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Melton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Melton has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ortiz's face.
Melton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ortiz is trying desperately to improve position.

Melton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Melton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Melton cracks Ortiz with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Ortiz from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Melton has got one arm under Ortiz's chin. This could be trouble... Ortiz trying to control the other hand but Melton gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Ortiz has tapped out! The fight is over!
