Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bwanali Longwe (ranked 4132 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Schoenfield (ranked 24402 p4p, 0 weight class). Longwe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is kojo funds dun talking. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Longwe instigates a clinch.
Schoenfield looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Longwe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Longwe slaps away a takedown attempt from Schoenfield , before circling back to the center of the mat.

Longwe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Schoenfield has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Schoenfield gets tackled into the cage by Longwe. Longwe maintains the clinch.

Longwe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Longwe wants it to stay on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Schoenfield gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Longwe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Longwe showed some decent athleticism there.

Longwe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schoenfield does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Longwe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schoenfield can do to turn this around?

Horrible takedown attempt by Longwe or perhaps it was just good defense by Schoenfield , which made it look bad.
