Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between De Forest Treadwell (ranked 2832 p4p, 398 weight class) and Bato Dela Rosa (ranked 4383 p4p, 566 weight class). Treadwell comes to the cage accompanied by God gave me style, I’m coming home mix. De Forest Treadwell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bato Dela Rosa's chin.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Treadwell rushes Dela Rosa and presses him up against the cage.
Treadwell has Dela Rosa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Treadwell pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dela Rosa tumbling to the mat - Treadwell dives into Dela Rosa's guard.
Dela Rosa has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Treadwell is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Treadwell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dela Rosa is trying to keep an underhook but Treadwell manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Treadwell slips a nice elbow through Dela Rosa's hands, connecting with Dela Rosa's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Treadwell connects with a nice short shot to Dela Rosa's temple.

Dela Rosa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Treadwell is working away from the top position though.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Treadwell lands a nice short elbow.

Treadwell winds up and cracks Dela Rosa with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Treadwell is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Treadwell dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
De Forest Treadwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dela Rosa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dela Rosa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You can see the frustration on Treadwell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

After the fight, De Forest Treadwell was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
