Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ugandan Knuckles (ranked 741 p4p, 117 weight class) and Rod Huricane (ranked 1664 p4p, 244 weight class). Knuckles comes to the cage accompanied by Ugandan Knuckles song. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles misses with an uppercut
and Huricane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Knuckles. Huricane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knuckles takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Knuckles throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Huricane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Knuckles's head backwards.
Huricane misses with a low kick.

Huricane has Knuckles up against the cage in a clinch.
Huricane tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Huricane is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Huricane breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Huricane clinches.
Knuckles lands with a short punch from the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knuckles tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Huricane's elbow.
Knuckles blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Huricane pushes off an throws an elbow but Knuckles leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Huricane is struggling to control the position.
Knuckles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Knuckles wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Knuckles lands a nice uppercut.

It looks like Rod Huricane has been cut.
Knuckles goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Huricane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knuckles throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Huricane walks into a jab.
Huricane has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Knuckles lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Huricane at a distance.
Knuckles blocks a jab.
Knuckles throws a body shot but no joy.

Huricane rushes Knuckles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Knuckles has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Huricane has a couple of punches blocked by Knuckles.
Huricane throws an elbow but it misses.
Knuckles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Knuckles presses Huricane against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Knuckles throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Huricane tries to break the clinch but Knuckles is controlling the position.
