The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods is looking to clinch.
Woods motions for Bennington to come forward. Woods throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Bennington stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Woods.
Bennington fails to land the takedown.
Woods misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bennington chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Woods can pounce on him.

Woods moves into range and clinches up with Bennington .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

JJ Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Woods looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Good leg kick by Woods there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bennington drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bennington jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Woods manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bennington manages to get himself to full guard.


Bennington working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Woods doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bennington is tightening it up a little... Woods has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Woods reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Woods taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bennington !
