Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 697 p4p, 96 weight class) and Alexandr Kuznetsov (ranked 739 p4p, 98 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 4, fighting out of Helsinki, Marek Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 22 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Alexandr Kuznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koltun shoots in looking for a takedown but Kuznetsov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Koltun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kuznetsov closes the distance and pushes Koltun back into the cage.
Kuznetsov misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Koltun.
Koltun wants to take the fight to the mat but Kuznetsov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Koltun looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kuznetsov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kuznetsov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koltun has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuznetsov has managed to get both his arms back between Koltun's legs - danger averted.
