Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Krause (ranked 2575 p4p, 238 weight class) and Chrys Kyle (ranked 5588 p4p, 400 weight class). Krause's entrance music is Heart of a Champion. A fine choice. Chrys Kyle acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, James Krause!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chrys Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kyle closes the distance and clinches.

Krause has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Krause shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kyle as he jumps to the side.
Kyle is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Krause with a body shot.

Chrys Kyle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kyle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Chrys Kyle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
James Krause was interviewed post fight and said 'I want a rematch. I'll beat him in the next one, just as I did with everyone who was lucky enough to beat me in Highland Games.'.
