Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniello Pablo (ranked 4664 p4p, 0 weight class) and I Hate Work (ranked 3233 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniello Pablo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, I Hate Work!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Work wants to stand back up but Pablo manages to pass into side control.
Pablo misses with the ground and pound.

Pablo is trying to get an arm triangle but Work is defending well.
Work dodges the ground and pound from Pablo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Work manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pablo wants to work for an arm triangle but Work is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pablo stalling away here and it's allowed Work to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Pablo wants to control from the top but Work keeps moving.
Work keeping full guard, as Pablo tries to pass.
Pablo postures up and lands a big shot to Work's brow.
Work keeping moving, preventing Pablo from controlling successfully.
Work wants to get back to his feet but Pablo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Work trying to keep a closed guard but Pablo is proving a slippery customer.

Pablo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Work manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pablo has Work in his guard.

Pablo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Work's guard.

Work has momentary wrist control but Pablo slips an elbow through the middle.

Pablo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pablo throws a big right hand that misses.
Pablo throws a big elbow that misses.
Work keeping moving, preventing Pablo from controlling successfully.

Pablo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Work looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Work pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pablo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Work's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pablo controls from within his opponent's guard.
Pablo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Nice takedown defense from Work. No joy for Pablo on that attempt.
Pablo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Work with a hook.
Pablo slips a jab and a cross from Work.
Pablo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pablo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pablo shoots in but no luck this time.
A nice side step and Work releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniello Pablo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Work really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pablo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Work got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pablo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Work has managed to get both his arms back between Pablo's legs - danger averted.

Work decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Pablo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Work did well to prevent Pablo getting side control.
Work looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pablo is nestled in close to Work, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pablo is pressing down on Work's thigh, looking to free his foot. Work is holding on for now.
Pablo with the ground and pound but Work uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Pablo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pablo postures up in Work's guard and throws a big left but Work blocks it.
Work wants to get back to his feet but Pablo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pablo lands a couple of digs.
Work is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pablo is controlling him.
Pablo wants to control from the top but Work keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Work looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pablo dives in for a single leg takedown but Work sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Work throws a body kick that misses

and Pablo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Pablo prevents Work from getting back to his feet.
Work trying to keep a closed guard but Pablo is proving a slippery customer.
Work is breathing heavily.
Pablo trying to control but Work is working from the bottom.
Pablo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Work swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pablo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Work works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Work wants to stand up but Pablo is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Pablo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Work pinned against the cage. Work gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Work throws out a counter right but Pablo avoids it with no problem.

Work gets caught flat footed, as Pablo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pablo wants to control from the top but Work keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniello Pablo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Work has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Pablo is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Pablo jumps guard but Work stands there with Pablo around his waist. Pablo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pablo keeps control of Work as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pablo tries to score a body lock takedown but Work shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pablo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Work smiles and moves away.
Work misses with an uppercut.
Work tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pablo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pablo tries to free his leg and advance position but Work is retaining full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pablo is looking to advance position but Work won't allow it.
Work is trying to stand up here but Pablo is controlling him well.

Pablo thows a huge punch but Work dodges it nicely.
Pablo stops Work from getting back to his feet.

Pablo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Work defends it well.
Daniello Pablo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Work makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Work uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Work throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pablo appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pablo or perhaps it was just good defense by Work, which made it look bad.

Work moves into range and clinches up with Pablo.
Pablo tries for a takedown. No joy.
I Hate Work has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Work looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Work breaks from the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Work throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pablo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Work is looking to clinch but Pablo is avoiding it.

And that's the end of the fight!
I Hate Work comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pablo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
