Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Pakhomov (ranked 2839 p4p, 113 weight class) and Jumping Rivers (ranked 24282 p4p, 243 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergey Pakhomov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jumping Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch but Pakhomov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pakhomov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rivers takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rivers tries for a takedown but Pakhomov circles away easily
and Pakhomov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rivers throws a leg kick
and Pakhomov counters by clinching up.
Pakhomov scores with a shot to the side of Rivers's head.
Rivers jumps guard but Pakhomov stands there with Rivers around his waist. Rivers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pakhomov lands a nice uppercut.
Rivers looks winded!
Pakhomov dips a shoulder and cracks Rivers with a mighty uppercut! Rivers falls back against the cage and Pakhomov unloads with a barrage of strikes! Rivers is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pakhomov screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergey Pakhomov!
After winning the bout, Sergey Pakhomov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
