PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Boone (ranked 25347 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test Four (ranked 6449 p4p, 0 weight class). Test Four told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Four counters by clinching up.
A shot in the inside from Four.
Boone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Four lands a hook to the side of the head.
Four scores with a hook to the body.
Four manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Four gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boone.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hubert Boone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right hook to the body lands for Four.
Boone is breathing heavily.
Four digs a right hand into Boone's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Boone's gas tank.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Four lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Boone is rocked!
Four throws a big uppercut that drops Boone! More strikes from Four and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Boone lies dazed against the cage as Four celebrates with his cornermen!
