Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loureiro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marley throws out the jab.
Marley tries to clinch up but Loureiro circles away and keeps his distance.

A nice left hand lands by Marley.
Loureiro tries a body shot but Marley blocks it.
Loureiro lands a body shot in the clinch.
Marley lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Marley swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Loureiro tries to break free but Marley pushes him back against the cage.
Loureiro is trying to pull guard but Marley has him pressed against the cage.

Loureiro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Loureiro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marley misses with a hook. Loureiro ducked under it nicely.
Loureiro connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marley's hands.

Marley throws a shot from downtown. Loureiro moves away and avoids it.
Marley lands a glancing blow to the side of Loureiro's head.

Loureiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Marley tries to sprawl out of it but Loureiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Marley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Loureiro blocks a jab.
Loureiro takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Loureiro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Marley quickly recovers to half guard.

Loureiro is working for a submission of some sort.
Marley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Loureiro is working away from the top position though.
Marley is looking for a sweep. Loureiro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Loureiro seems to be working for a kimura but Marley defends the submission attempt.
Marley wants to sweep but Loureiro has passed to side control!

Marley is trying to get back to half guard.

Loureiro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Loureiro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Marley tries to buck Loureiro off but Loureiro is having none of it.
Loureiro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marley keeps working.
Loureiro advances to mount.

Loureiro swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Marley is now in Loureiro's guard. A big mistake from Loureiro there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Loureiro has his foot on Marley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marley works his way back into a safe position though.

Marley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Marley wanted to stand there but Loureiro had control of the position.

Loureiro is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Marley tries to free his leg and advance position but Loureiro is retaining full guard.
Loureiro not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Marley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loureiro is trying to control the position but Marley postures up.
Marley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Marley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marley is posturing up here but Loureiro has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Marley tries to roll out but it's too tight and Marley has to tap! Slick submission there by Loureiro!
