The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Lucifer Satan has been cut.
Satan lands a jab to Zaitsev's midsection.
Zaitsev wants to clinch up but Satan keeps it at a distance.
Zaitsev uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Satan.
Zaitsev uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Satan.
Zaitsev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A head kick from Satan lands but Zaitsev takes it in his stride.
Zaitsev tries to clinch up but Satan circles away and keeps his distance.
Satan lands with a thumping leg kick.

Zaitsev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Satan moves away.
Satan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Zaitsev at a distance.
Zaitsev is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Satan.
Satan throws a nice inside leg kick.
Satan scoring well with a low kick there.
Zaitsev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Zaitsev has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Satan.

Satan takes one to the side of the head.
Zaitsev moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zaitsev pivots, looking for a leg kick but Satan is out of range and Zaitsev settles back down.
Zaitsev checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
It looked like Zaitsev wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
An inside leg kick lands from Satan.
Zaitsev throws out a leg kick but Satan moves out of range and Zaitsev only half commits.
Satan just misses with a punch to the body.
Lucifer Satan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Satan lands a big head kick that sends Zaitsev tumbling to the mat! Satan takes a step backwards and waves Zaitsev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zaitsev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Satan throws a jab but it's blocked by Zaitsev.
Zaitsev's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
Zaitsev takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Satan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Zaitsev swings for the body but Satan moves out of range.
Satan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Satan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Satan throws the kick towards the body but Zaitsev avoids it.
Satan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Satan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Zaitsev rather than just go for the knockout.
Zaitsev wants to clinch.
Satan moves out of range of the strikes.
Zaitsev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Satan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zaitsev looks to land a right hand but Satan moved out of range.
Zaitsev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Satan counters with a nice body shot.

Satan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Zaitsev wants to clinch

and Satan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Zaitsev! Satan lets Zaitsev back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zaitsev takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Satan cracks the inside of Zaitsev's front leg.
Zaitsev is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Satan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Satan cracks Zaitsev with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Satan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zaitsev to stand back up!

Zaitsev is rocked!
Zaitsev walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Zaitsev limp body while Satan jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
