Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez looking to score a takedown here. Case is defending well but Alvarez drives through and ends up in Case's guard.
Alvarez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Alvarez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Case being controlled here, momentarily.

Alvarez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Case really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alvarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Alvarez distracts Case with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alvarez is in close to Case's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Alvarez advances to half guard.
Alvarez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Alvarez is looking for a kimura but Case is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alvarez to get the leverage.
Case is staying active underneath Alvarez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Alvarez is taking a breather. Case says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Alvarez seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Case is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
