The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka cracks a nice hook into Malachi's ribs.
Boyka slips a straight right by Malachi.
Boyka drops down looking for a counter takedown but Malachi sprawls and moves away.
Malachi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Boyka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boyka connects with a looping right hand.
Boyka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Boyka misses with a wild combination.
Boyka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Malachi momentarily.
Malachi on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Boyka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Boyka shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Boyka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malachi.
Yuri Boyka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Malachi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Malachi swings for the body but Boyka moves out of range.

Some bone on bone action there as Malachi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Malachi throws a looping overhand right but Boyka ducks down to avoid it.

Boyka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Malachi.

Malachi is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Malachi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Malachi is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyka finish him?
Boyka throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Malachi is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Boyka just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Malachi has gone limp and this one is over!
