Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Banner (ranked 3466 p4p, 383 weight class) and Alex Valentine (ranked 3709 p4p, 405 weight class). Valentine comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bloodborne OST - Gehrman, The First Hunter kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner throws a looping overhand right but Valentine ducks down to avoid it.
Valentine keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Banner .
Valentine dives in and scores a takedown into Banner 's guard.
Valentine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valentine works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Banner 's coaches at Big Bear Fight Factory have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
