Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Lundgren (ranked 4826 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Hope (ranked 2745 p4p, 375 weight class). Hope has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Billy Hope is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundgren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lundgren takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hope scores with a body shot.
Hope connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hope has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lundgren is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Hope throws a leg kick but Lundgren checks it.
Hope fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lundgren on the side of the head.
Hope does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hope throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hope uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lundgren has time to react.
Lundgren with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hope to score with a decent uppercut.

Hope gets caught napping as Lundgren dives in and scores a takedown. Hope manages to retain guard.
Hope has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lundgren has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lundgren is trying to drag Hope to the mat but Hope just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Lundgren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hope throws a head kick but Lundgren moves out of range.
It looked like Lundgren was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Billy Hope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hope scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lundgren doesn't seem bothered though.

Hope lands a nice looking body shot.
Lundgren is breathing heavily.
Hope throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Billy Hope is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hope misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hope cracks Lundgren with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Lundgren takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hope, as that shot connected.
Hope connects with a single shot there.
Oh Lundgren is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lundgren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hope manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hope looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lundgren seems to have got his legs back now.
Lundgren looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hope is fending him off so far but Lundgren persists. Nope, Hope circles away and we're back to standing.

Hope lands with a hook. Lundgren tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Lundgren shoots in but Hope avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hope. Lundgren does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hope throws a sloppy head kick and Lundgren moves out of range easily.

letting Hope counter with a right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hope looks to land a combination but Lundgren avoids it well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Hope counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hope stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hope fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lundgren looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lundgren walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Hope! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
