Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 2533 p4p, 362 weight class) and Samuel Kravac (ranked 2364 p4p, 344 weight class). Samuel Kravac has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Kravac!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux misses with a head kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kravac has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dux attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kravac accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kravac goes for an armbar but Dux turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dux.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dux wants to pass the guard but Kravac is keeping the position.

Kravac is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kravac bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dux's guard.

Dux on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dux tries to get out of the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kravac shoots in looking for a takedown but Dux manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kravac's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kravac uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dux has time to react.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kravac darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

And Kravac tries to counter it with a takedown but Dux pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dux is trying to stand back up but Kravac is controlling him

Dux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kravac on the ground.

Kravac is nestled in close to Dux, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Samuel Kravac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Dux fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kravac has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kravac lands a nice looking body shot.
Kravac dives in for a single leg takedown but Dux sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Frank Dux is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dux looks to land a right hand but Kravac moved out of range.

Kravac tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kravac has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
