Venemies doesn't manage to clinch there - Polyanskiy circles away.
Polyanskiy drives through and clinches with Venemies against the cage.

Polyanskiy tries to work over Venemies's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Venemies gets control of Polyanskiy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Venemies will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Venemies has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Polyanskiy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Polyanskiy tries to free his leg and advance position but Venemies is retaining full guard.
Polyanskiy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Polyanskiy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Polyanskiy drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Polyanskiy seems to have locked his on tight now - Venemies screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Polyanskiy, as he picks up the win!
