The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severus swinging wildly here.
Severus throws a leg kick

and Bills counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Severus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Severus tries to get out of the position.
Bills working some strikes from top position.
Bills not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bills throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Severus has momentary wrist control but Bills slips an elbow through the middle.
Bills works over Severus with some ground and pound from guard.
Bills pushes down on Severus's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Severus on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Bills is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Severus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bills.

Bills thows a huge punch but Severus dodges it nicely.

Bills maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Severus could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bills has cracked it and Severus is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bills!

In his post fight interview, Thando Bills started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
