Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pretentious Kneecap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Cook!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kneecap moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kneecap cracks a nice hook into Cook's ribs.
Cook ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kneecap moves away.
Cook misses with a hook. Kneecap ducked under it nicely.
Kneecap slips a jab from Cook.
Cook works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Cook steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kneecap.

Cook tries a quick counter leg kick but Kneecap is wise to it.

Kneecap ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kneecap no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kneecap seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Kneecap is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kneecap wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Cook is just content to waste time from the top position. Kneecap takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Cook is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kneecap wants to sweep but no luck.
Kneecap lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kneecap stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cook swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cook clobbers Kneecap with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Cook does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Kneecap pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cook back to the cage. Kneecap follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Cook lands with an uppercut that bounces Kneecap off the cage and back into range.

Kneecap sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cook's guard.

Kneecap is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Cook reverses the position - he's now on top in Kneecap's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pretentious Kneecap.
Well Kneecap has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
