The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Universe lands a jab to the head.
A head kick by Rylie misses
and Universe counters by clinching up.
Universe lands a body shot.
Rylie on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Universe blocks a body shot from Rylie.
Universe lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Rylie is trying to break the clinch but Universe has him pressed against the cage.
Universe crunches a lovely knee into Rylie's ribcage.
Universe breaks the clinch.
Universe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Universe lands a body shot in the clinch.

Rylie is breathing heavily.
Universe stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Universe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rylie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rylie steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Universe. That one must have hurt.
Oh Rylie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nice body punch from Universe.
Rylie seems to have got his legs back now.
Universe displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Universe lands a nice shot to the body.
Universe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Universe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rylie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A punch combination from Universe misses.
Whack! Universe lands a heavy head kick that drops Rylie. The ref tackles Universe to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Rylie was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mr Universe!
Mr Universe decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
