Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Obliteratii (ranked 40 p4p, 6 weight class) and Casper Timmermans (ranked 75 p4p, 12 weight class). Obliteratii comes to the cage accompanied by Walkürenritt. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Obliteratii lands an impressive looking overhand right. Timmermans doesn't seem phased though.
Obliteratii jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Timmermans throws a jab when Obliteratii was well out of range.
Timmermans swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Obliteratii.

It looks like Zeus Obliteratii has been cut.
Timmermans throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Obliteratii.
Obliteratii takes a swing at Timmermans's ribcage but misses.
Zeus Obliteratii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Obliteratii. Timmermans does a little dance to reset his feet.

Timmermans shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Obliteratii is trying to defend but Timmermans finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Timmermans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Obliteratii's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Timmermans fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Obliteratii has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Timmermans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Obliteratii stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Timmermans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Obliteratii has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Obliteratii and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
