Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farnan tries to clinch but Rowe is having none of it.

Rowe tries to keep at a distance but Farnan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Farnan manages to pull guard.
Farnan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rowe lands a couple of digs.

Rowe gets to his feet - Farnan follows without any prompting.
Rowe lands a really nice looking cross but Farnan seems unphased.

Farnan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Rowe gets to his feet - Farnan follows without any prompting.

Farnan closes the distance and clinches.
Rowe tries to break the clinch but Farnan is controlling the position.

Rowe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Farnan moves in looking to clinch but Rowe pushes him off.

Rowe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Farnan wants to control from the top but Rowe keeps moving.

Rowe throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Farnan wants to stand and escape but instead Rowe has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Farnan is adopting a defensive guard.
Farnan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Farnan is on top in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Farnan drives through with a takedown into Rowe's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Rowe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Farnan throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Let's hope that Farnan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Farnan wants to get back to his feet but Rowe is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rowe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Farnan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rowe is trying to control Farnan's posture but Farnan avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter Farnan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Farnan moves forwards but Rowe connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Rowe scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Farnan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Farnan looks like he's trying to stand up.

Farnan gets back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Farnan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Farnan tries to free his leg and advance position but Rowe is retaining full guard.

Farnan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rowe throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.

Rowe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Farnan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Farnan tries to close the distance and clinch but Rowe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Farnan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rowe gets a clinch.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Farnan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Farnan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rowe uses from the top position.

Farnan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Farnan wants to stand up but Rowe is controlling the position.

Farnan is pressing down on Rowe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rowe is holding on for now.
Coleman Rowe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hunter Farnan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Rowe is refusing to be controlled, as Farnan sits in half guard.

Hunter Farnan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Farnan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
