The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nutt.
That kick from Venderag tenderised Nutt's leg. Nutt is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nutt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Venderag lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nutt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Venderag can pounce on him.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Venderag.
Nutt tries to clinch up.
Nice sprawl there from Venderag as Nutt shoots in.
Venderag appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Nutt tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A good leg kick by Venderag.
Nutt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Venderag but Venderag pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Nutt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters circling a little - Venderag finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Venderag throws a front kick that sends Nutt stumbling back into the cage.
Venderag turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Venderag throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Venderag looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Venderag backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Nutt's temple! It sends Nutt violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Venderag celebrates and the doctors try to help Nutt!
