Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Vazzappo (ranked 3763 p4p, 385 weight class) and Randy Tessin (ranked 2774 p4p, 307 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazzappo ducks under a wild hook from Tessin.
Vazzappo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Randy Tessin has been cut.
Tessin throws a shot from downtown. Vazzappo moves away and avoids it.
Tessin throws a lazy right hand but Vazzappo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Vazzappo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Vazzappo closes the distance and clinches.
Vazzappo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vazzappo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vazzappo defending well as Tessin loads up on a big left hand.
Vazzappo drives through and clinches with Tessin against the cage.

Vazzappo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tessin dodges the punch combination from Vazzappo.
Vazzappo scores with a hook to the body. Tessin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tessin shoots in but no luck this time.
Vazzappo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vazzappo has managed to clinch.
Vazzappo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tessin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Randy Tessin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tessin shoots in for a takedown but Vazzappo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tessin gets tackled into the cage by Vazzappo. Vazzappo maintains the clinch.

Vazzappo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tessin's head backwards.
Tessin throws a jab but it's blocked by Vazzappo.
Vazzappo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vazzappo throws a right hand that Tessin ducks under and follows up with a left that Tessin also avoids with ease.

Tessin is looking for a takedown.
Tessin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vazzappo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A right handed body shot lands from Vazzappo.
Vazzappo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Tessin is trying to maintain a safe position but Vazzappo gets an underhook and turns Tessin into the cage.
Tessin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vazzappo feints a jab promting Tessin to slip. Vazzappo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tessin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Vazzappo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tessin throws out the jab.
Vazzappo throws a series of punches but Tessin moves out of range.
Tessin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tessin lands in his opponent's guard.
Tessin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Tessin wants to control from the top but Vazzappo keeps moving.
Tessin drops back looking for a leg! Vazzappo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vazzappo manages to kick Tessin off! Tessin jumps back into Vazzappo's guard.
We've been informed that Tessin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Tessin pushing down on Vazzappo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Vazzappo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vazzappo tries to get out of the position.
Tessin is working for a kimura but Vazzappo is defending it quite comfortably.
Vazzappo wants to control but Tessin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tessin is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vazzappo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
