The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Trecozze finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Trecozze connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Twelve momentarily.

Twelve tries to keep at a distance but Trecozze has taken the fight into the clinch.

Trecozze's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Trecozze clinches up against the cage.
Twelve is working for takedown but Trecozze is calmly controlling the position for now.

Trecozze manages to break the clinch.

Twelve gets tackled into the cage by Trecozze. Trecozze maintains the clinch.
Trecozze is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Twelve drops down looking for an ankle pick but Trecozze pulls his leg out and moves away.

Trecozze moves into the clinch.
Trecozze lands a body shot.
Twelve is trying to drag Trecozze to the mat but Trecozze just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Twelve. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Twelve takes one to the chin there.
Twelve shoots in but no luck this time.
Twelve has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Trecozze finds it's way round the side to connect with Twelve's head.

Trecozze moves into range and clinches up with Twelve.

Gino Trecozze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Trecozze goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Android Twelve has been cut.

Trecozze lands with an uppercut that bounces Twelve off the cage and back into range.

Twelve is rocked!

Trecozze lands a big uppercut and Twelve crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Twelve looks OK. Trecozze waves Twelve back to his feet!
Oh Twelve is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Trecozze lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Twelve to his knees! Trecozze keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

After the fight, Gino Trecozze was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
