The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexandre shoots in and bounces Bader off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bader makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Alexandre is looking for a sweep. Bader is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Alexandre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bader gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bader content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Alexandre has locked up a guillotine! Alexandre's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bader is holding on here and Alexandre must be using up a lot of energy. Bader has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Alexandre gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
