Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawid Kasperski (ranked 4082 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chenchen Li (ranked 3245 p4p, 0 weight class). Chenchen Li is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dawid Kasperski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chenchen Li!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasperski closes the distance and clinches up with Li, looking for a takedown. Kasperski pushes Li against the cage but Li circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kasperski rushes Li and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Li tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kasperski jumps guard but Li stands there with Kasperski around his waist. Kasperski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kasperski manages to break the clinch.
Kasperski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Li feints the counter takedown.

Kasperski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Come on Kasperski - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Li is trying to trip Kasperski. He has hold of a leg but Kasperski is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Li persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Kasperski wants to get back to his feet but Li passes into half guard.

Li wants to free his trapped foot but Kasperski is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Li seems to be working for a kimura but Kasperski defends the submission attempt.

Li thows a huge punch but Kasperski dodges it nicely.
Li wants to stand up but Kasperski has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Li wants to take a breather but Kasperski is having none of it.

Li is trying to control the action in half guard but Kasperski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Li is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Li prevents Kasperski from improving his position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Kasperski darts in and clinches Li up against the cage.
Li is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kasperski is defending well for now.
Kasperski tries to land knees in the clinch but Li avoids the damage to the body.

Kasperski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Li misses with a takedown attempt - Kasperski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Li tries to clinch but Kasperski is having none of it.
Li darts in looking for a takedown but Kasperski gets double underhooks and turns Li into the cage.
Li avoids a kick to the body.
Kasperski goes for a double leg but Li avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Li continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawid Kasperski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kasperski dives in and grabs Li's left leg, looking for a takedown. Li pushes down on Kasperski's head and hops out.

Li is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kasperski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kasperski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Li defends it nicely.

A frustrated look appears on Li's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Li tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kasperski smiles and moves away.

Li is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kasperski went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dawid Kasperski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kasperski fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Kasperski swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Li goes for a double leg but Kasperski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kasperski continues to drive forward.
Kasperski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Li as he jumps to the side.

Kasperski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kasperski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kasperski is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Li is defended easily by Kasperski.

Li is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kasperski is defending well.

Kasperski manages to break the clinch.

Kasperski rushes Li and presses him up against the cage.
Kasperski tries to pull guard but Li holds him up against the cage and eventually Kasperski drops back down to his feet.

Kasperski drags the fight down to the ground.
Li advances to half guard.
Li wants to stand but Kasperski has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Kasperski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Li pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kasperski wants to control but Li is keeping busy.
Kasperski tries to get to full guard but Li has control of the leg.

Li is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kasperski tries to roll over but Li keeps him under control.
Li uses his free foot to push down on Kasperski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kasperski.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kasperski is trying to control the position here but Li swings around for an armbar and he's got it! This one is all over, courtesy of a slick submission by Li!
