The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scanlan clobbers Yingwen Taizong with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ogedei Yingwen Taizong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yingwen Taizong connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Cecil Scanlan has been cut.
Yingwen Taizong lands a jab to the nose.
Yingwen Taizong moves into range and connects with a jab.
Some wild striking there from Yingwen Taizong .
An attempted straight right counter from Scanlan misses the target.
Yingwen Taizong scores with a crisp jab that stopped Scanlan in his tracks.

Yingwen Taizong shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Scanlan throws a hook but Yingwen Taizong blocks it.
It seemed like Yingwen Taizong was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Yingwen Taizong drops Scanlan with a big left hand and mounts him. Scanlan is in big trouble!

Scanlan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Oh Scanlan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Scanlan seems to have got his legs back now.

Yingwen Taizong looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Yingwen Taizong has control of Scanlan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Scanlan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Yingwen Taizong throws some wild stikes that Scanlan manages to avoid easily.

Scanlan has left one of his arms exposed and Yingwen Taizong doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Scanlan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
