Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Wood (ranked 2809 p4p, 64 weight class) and Dreamiest Panda (ranked 3010 p4p, 122 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Panda sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Panda has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Wood seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Panda shoots in looking for a takedown. Wood tries to sprawl out of it but Panda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wood manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
