PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mortimer Bob Holley (ranked 1136 p4p, 52 weight class) and Kealohilani Kalawaia (ranked 3729 p4p, 146 weight class). Holley comes to the cage accompanied by Grillmasters - Sizzling. Kealohilani Kalawaia told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Kalawaia. Those never looked like landing.
Kalawaia looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Holley catches Kalawaia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Kealohilani Kalawaia has been cut.
Kalawaia needs to keep his hands up - Holley had a free shot at his head there.
Holley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kalawaia.
Holley lands a slapping body shot.
Holley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kalawaia manages to avoid it.
Kalawaia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Holley wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Holley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Holley jabs Kalawaia to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kalawaia takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kalawaia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kalawaia looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Holley scores with a jab to the head.
Holley scores with a sloppy right hand. Kalawaia should have avoided that one.
Holley lands with a nice combination. Kalawaia backs away looking to recover.
Holley lands with a shot to the body.
Kalawaia takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Holley fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Holley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That has opened up Kealohilani Kalawaia's cut even more.

Kalawaia falls off balance throwing a combination

and Holley counters by moving into the clinch.
Holley is pushing Kalawaia up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Holley digs a right hand into Kalawaia's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kalawaia's gas tank.
Holley presses Kalawaia against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A body shot lands from Holley.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Holley.
Holley lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kalawaia backwards.
Holley lands a body punch in the clinch.
Holley lands with a left to the head.
Holley lands with a short shot to the head.

The cut above Kealohilani Kalawaia's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Kalawaia is rocked!
Holley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kalawaia blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kalawaia is still on wobbly legs! Can Holley finish him?
Holley cracks Kalawaia with a nice body shot.
Kalawaia seems to have recovered his senses.

Kealohilani Kalawaia's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Holley gets through Kalawaia's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kealohilani Kalawaia's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

As Mortimer Bob Holley got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Come on, now give me food and fast. Im starving! Hi mom!'.
