PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taran Chula (ranked 1083 p4p, 126 weight class) and Lukas Hanak (ranked 1326 p4p, 159 weight class). Hanak is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chula connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Chula feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hanaks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Taran Chula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanak looks to score with a jab to the body but Chula is just out of range.
Chula throws a hook to the side of Hanak's head but Hanak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Chula throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Chula rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hanak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hanak shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hanak crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chula - the referee stops the clock and Hanak gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chula. Hanak manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
