Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Iron Tyson (ranked 45 p4p, 6 weight class) and Mordecai Sackett (ranked 124 p4p, 19 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Iron Tyson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Slaughterouse - Party. Shogun Iron Tyson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
34 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mordecai Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron Tyson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A little feinted left hand from Iron Tyson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sackett!
Sackett has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Iron Tyson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Iron Tyson throws a shot from downtown. Sackett moves away and avoids it.
Iron Tyson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Iron Tyson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sackett finds it's way round the side to connect with Iron Tyson's head.
Sackett lands a nice shot that snaps Iron Tyson's head back.
Iron Tyson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sackett tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Iron Tyson is able to avoid easily.
Sackett scoring well with a low kick there.
Iron Tyson drops Sackett with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sackett looks back up at him and smiles so Iron Tyson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sackett is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sackett throws a push kick but Iron Tyson slaps the foot to one side.
Sackett is still on wobbly legs! Can Iron Tyson finish him?
Sackett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Iron Tyson.
Iron Tyson weaves into range and cracks Sackett right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sackett goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Iron Tyson is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shogun Iron Tyson!
After the fight, Shogun Iron Tyson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
