The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Book is trying to break the clinch but Walker has him pressed against the cage.
Walker works on Book's body with a couple of short punches.
Walker lands a left hand.
Book tries to pull guard but Walker won't allow it.
Book tries to stall but Walker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Book could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Walker throws a head kick that misses.
Walker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Schael Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Book takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nice takedown defense from Walker. No joy for Book on that attempt.
Walker flicks out a counter leg kick but Book steps away.
Book keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Walker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Book definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Walker blocks an elbow strike.
Walker lands a body shot in the clinch.
Book is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walker lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Walker stalls.
Walker is leaning against Book and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Walker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Walker.
Book blocks an elbow strike.
Walker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Book backwards.
Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker connects with a crisp jab.
Walker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Book has time to react.

Walker has managed to clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Walker drops Book onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Book is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Book is rocked!
Walker is leaning against Book and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Oh Book is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Walker pushes Book against the cage and as Book bounces back, Walker cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Walker follows up with more strikes but Book was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!
