Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Saadoun defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Seghir.
Al Saadoun looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Seghir rushes Al Saadoun and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Seghir is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Al Saadoun to keep the fight standing.
Seghir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Al Saadoun avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Abdulmalek Al Saadoun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walid Seghir.
Seghir ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Seghir no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Seghir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Al Saadoun gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Seghir throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Seghir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Al Saadoun's waist but Al Saadoun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Seghir off to one side.
Seghir closes the distance and clinches.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Seghir closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Seghir lands in his opponent's guard.
Seghir is pushing down on Al Saadoun's leg trying to pass to half guard. Al Saadoun is fighting to maintain full guard but Seghir has managed to sneak the leg through.
Seghir wants to stand but Al Saadoun has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Al Saadoun on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Al Saadoun tries to get out of the position.

Al Saadoun is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Seghir scores with a couple of nice shots.

Seghir uses his free foot to push down on Al Saadoun's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Al Saadoun.
Seghir throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Al Saadoun has his hands clasped together but Seghir breaks the hold and Al Saadoun is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Seghir!
