Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Custavo Ramos (ranked 25338 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Jones (ranked 3806 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Custavo Ramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roger Jones!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones clinches with his opponent.
Ramos has Jones pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jones manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ramos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ramos is trying to break free.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Ramos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jones moves into the clinch.
Jones on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ramos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle.

Jones is trying to drag Ramos to the mat but Ramos just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ramos is trying to stall.
Ramos is trying to maintain a safe position but Jones gets an underhook and turns Ramos into the cage.
Ramos tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Ramos drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ramos closes the distance but Jones moves to the side
and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Ramos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ramos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jones lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Ramos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones.

Roger Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Ramos manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Roger Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Roger Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
