Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Blake (ranked 1488 p4p, 230 weight class) and Bilabong Conrad (ranked 2073 p4p, 312 weight class). Blake comes to the cage accompanied by Cry of the Blackbirds. The crowd seem to be enjoying Conrad's choice of entrance music: BonieM. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bilabong Conrad!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Blake lands but Conrad takes it in his stride.
Blake with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Conrad to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Edward Blake has been cut.
Blake rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Conrad counters with a nice leg kick.
Blake tries to land a front kick but Conrad steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A clash of legs there as Conrad blocks the low kick.
Blake looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Blake throws a body punch but Conrad moves out of range.
Blake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice uppercut there from Blake.
Conrad misses with a hook.
Conrad tries to clinch there but Blake circles away.
Blake is looking to counter with a body kick.
Conrad throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Blake is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Blake!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conrad lands a left hand that snaps the head of Blake backwards.
Blake manages to break the clinch.
Conrad takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Conrad is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blake connects with a body shot.
Conrad is still on wobbly legs! Can Blake finish him?
Conrad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blake lands a brutal uppercut that launches Conrad off his feet! Conrad tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edward Blake!
