Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Lucan (ranked 3864 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Del Oeste (ranked 4364 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Oeste is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coming Home. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lucan works his way into full mount!
Del Oeste tries to hold on but Lucan pushes him away.
Del Oeste holds on, trying desperately to control.
Lucan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Del Oeste is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Del Oeste and Lucan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Lucan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lucan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Del Oeste is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Del Oeste is trying to get back to half guard.
Lucan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lucan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Del Oeste knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Del Oeste manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Lucan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Del Oeste can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lucan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Del Oeste is defending against the submission attempts here by Lucan.
Lucan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Del Oeste keeps working.

Lucan is trying to control the action in half guard but Del Oeste is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lucan is working for a kimura here but Del Oeste manages to reverse the position and he's now in Lucan's guard.

Lucan is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Rabid Dog , so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Del Oeste looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lucan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Del Oeste winds up and cracks Lucan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Del Oeste is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Edwin Lucan will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lucan tries to land a front kick but Del Oeste steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lucan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Del Oeste tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lucan is in Del Oeste's guard.
Lucan trying to control the position from guard on top but Del Oeste is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Del Oeste is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lucan frees his head nicely. Oh but Del Oeste has switched to an armbar! Lucan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

After winning the bout, Ryan Del Oeste thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
