The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hobson throws a head kick that misses.
Hobson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johns paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hobson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johns manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

It looked like Johns was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Hobson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johns looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Johns enables Hobson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johns manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
