The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butabi throws a right hand that misses
and Chinaski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Butabi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chinaski was well out of range. Poor timing from Butabi.
Butabi ducks under a wild hook from Chinaski.
Butabi scores with a sloppy right hand. Chinaski should have avoided that one.
Butabi misses with a hook to the body
and Chinaski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fighters circling - Chinaski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Butabi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chinaski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Butabi moves out of range of the strikes.

Chinaski scores with a one two! Butabi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Butabi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A nice leg kick lands there from Butabi.
Steve Butabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Butabi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Chinaski counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Butabi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Butabi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chinaski throws out the jab.

Henry Chinaski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chinaski throws a jab when Butabi was well out of range.

Chinaski connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Butabi's hands.

Chinaski wanted to stand there but Butabi had control of the position.
Chinaski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Chinaski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Butabi has his feet on Chinaski's thighs here. He's pushed Chinaski off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Chinaski screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
