Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Johnson (ranked 6095 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Dallas (ranked 6096 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Dallas!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dallas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Dallas's guard.
Dallas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dallas keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but instead Dallas has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dallas wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Johnson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson controls Dallas momentarily but Dallas frees himself.
Johnson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position.

Dallas preventing the sweep.
Dallas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dallas wants to stand and escape but instead Johnson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Dallas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Dallas is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Johnson won't allow Dallas to sweep him here.
Dallas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace.

Dallas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dallas's half guard.

Dallas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Dallas has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Johnson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Dallas tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.
Johnson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dallas gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Dallas jumps guard but Johnson stands there with Dallas around his waist. Dallas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Come on Johnson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Johnson tries to land knees in the clinch but Dallas avoids the damage to the body.

Johnson pulls guard successfully.
Dallas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dallas is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Johnson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dallas wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Johnson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dallas stuffs the takedown.
Dallas is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Johnson tried to counter with a leg kick but Dallas avoided it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dallas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And Johnson counters with a quick kick to the body but Dallas blocks it.
Johnson stuffs the takedown.
Dallas throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Johnson counters with a single leg into guard. Dallas didn't expect that.

Dallas pushes Johnson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Johnson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dallas.


It looks like Jack Johnson has been cut.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Dallas.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dallas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dallas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johnson defends well and Dallas ends up having to push Johnson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Johnson jumps into guard, dragging Dallas to the mat.
Johnson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dallas.
Johnson is trying to keep Dallas in close.
Dallas looking to sit in guard and control but Johnson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Dallas keeps moving.
Dallas trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.

Johnson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Dallas manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Jack Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Johnson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dallas is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Johnson.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is pushing Dallas's head away, looking to escape. Dallas manages to hold on to the position though.
Johnson is not content to let Dallas control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnson throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Dallas in side control, throwing shots but Johnson defends.

Dallas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dallas wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Dallas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Jack Johnson's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Johnson misses with a head kick.
Jack Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Johnson forces Dallas back against the cage and clinches.
Dallas is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing.
Johnson lands a shot to the body.
Johnson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Dallas pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dallas tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Dallas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dallas wants it to stay on the feet.

and Dallas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson rushes Dallas and presses him up against the cage.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dallas prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson stalls.

Johnson has Dallas pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Johnson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dallas tumbling to the mat - Johnson dives into Dallas's guard.
Dallas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.
Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dallas is proving hard to escape from.
Johnson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Johnson is pushing down on Dallas's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dallas is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dallas regains full guard. Nicely done.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Dallas manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dallas to the ground. Johnson is now in Dallas's guard.
Dallas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dallas wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Johnson is now in half guard.
Johnson is controlling the pace.
Dallas tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.

Johnson seems to be working for a kimura but Dallas defends the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Johnson controlling the action here.
Dallas is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Johnson is trying to control the action in half guard but Dallas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Johnson showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
