Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ibaka (ranked 5670 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morris Barbee (ranked 5669 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ibaka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mi Gente. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibaka throws a head kick that misses.
Barbee is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Barbee checks a low kick from Ibaka.
Ibaka tries a head kick but it misses.
And Barbee tries to counter it with a takedown but Ibaka pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ibaka misses with a head kick.
Ibaka scores with a head kick.
Barbee throws a low kick but Ibaka moves out of range easily.
Ibaka gets caught flat footed, as Barbee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ibaka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barbee on the ground.
Barbee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Barbee distracts Ibaka with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Barbee tries to free his leg and advance position but Ibaka is retaining full guard.
Ibaka is looking to stand up but Barbee isn't so interested in that idea.
Barbee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Barbee lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ibaka is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barbee content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Oh Ibaka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barbee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbee stands up over Ibaka, holding on to his feet. Barbee throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Ibaka is out cold! Barbee lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Morris Barbee!
