Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Milne (ranked 2011 p4p, 190 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 1330 p4p, 135 weight class). Crane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Love Inc!-Broken Bones! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Milne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ichabod Crane!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Milne.

Milne moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Crane goes down! Can Milne finish him!?


It looks like Ichabod Crane has been cut.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Crane holds on and takes a little breather.

Crane doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Crane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Milne is one step ahead there.

Crane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Milne remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Crane felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Milne throws a jab when Crane was well out of range.
Crane was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Crane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Milne's head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Milne's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Crane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Milne scrambles back to his feet.
Crane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Milne.
Crane throws out a counter right but Milne avoids it with no problem.

Milne fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Crane on the side of the head.

Milne shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Milne was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Milne will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harry Milne.
Well Milne has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
