Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Judah (ranked 1292 p4p, 142 weight class) and Rad Dood (ranked 2679 p4p, 252 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elijah Judah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rad Dood!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Dood blocks the low kick.
Dood drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Judah defends it well.
Judah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Judah lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Judah throws out a leg kick but Dood moves out of range and Judah only half commits.
Judah misses with a straight left.
Judah walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dood checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Judah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Judah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dood takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Judah comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dood shoots in and drives through. Judah sprawls well.

And Dood tries to counter it with a takedown but Judah pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Dood uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Judah.

Judah manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dood keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Judah is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Judah breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Some bone on bone action there as Dood checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We've been informed that Dood has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Dood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Judah knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Judah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Judah has closed the distance and engaged Dood in a clinch.

Judah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Judah throws a lazy right hand but Dood sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Judah gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Judah throws a right and a left that Dood avoids nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Judah lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dood doesn't seem phased though.
