Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Yoshida (ranked 101 p4p, 1 weight class) and ButtStrike UrFace (ranked 227 p4p, 4 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida throws a hook but UrFace avoids it easily.
UrFace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
UrFace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yoshida connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between UrFace's hands.
UrFace tries to clinch up but Yoshida circles away and keeps his distance.
Yoshida throws a quick counter head kick but UrFace was just out of range.

UrFace has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
UrFace throws a jab but it's blocked by Yoshida.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! UrFace crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yoshida - the referee stops the clock and UrFace gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yoshida. UrFace manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

ButtStrike UrFace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Yoshida wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yoshida lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and UrFace has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from UrFace and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
UrFace fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yoshida looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yoshida with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling UrFace to score with a decent uppercut.
