The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson Jr moves in looking to clinch but Lukyanov pushes him off.
Despite the aggression on Lukyanov's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jonhson Jr darts in looking for a takedown but Lukyanov gets double underhooks and turns Jonhson Jr into the cage.
Lukyanov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Jonhson Jr instigates a clinch.
Lukyanov fails to pull guard.
Lukyanov is looking to take this one to the mat.
Jonhson Jr is trying to pull guard but Lukyanov turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lukyanov jumps into guard, dragging Jonhson Jr to the mat.

Jonhson Jr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lukyanov as he avoids it easily.
Lukyanov keeps the fight on the outside.
As Jonhson Jr backs off Lukyanov throws a huge counter combo but Jonhson Jr manages to avoid it all.
Jonhson Jr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jonhson Jr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lukyanov shoots in but no luck this time.

Jonhson Jr closes the distance but Lukyanov moves to the side
and Lukyanov counters with a one-two to the body.

Lukyanov drives through and clinches with Jonhson Jr against the cage.

Lukyanov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Lukyanov counters with a left and a right that stings Jonhson Jr.
Jonhson Jr is breathing heavily.

Lukyanov wants to counter the offense by Jonhson Jr and move into the clinch position.

Lukyanov is trying to drag Jonhson Jr to the mat but Jonhson Jr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A close round but Boris Lukyanov will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lukyanov looks to land a combination but Jonhson Jr avoids it well.

Lukyanov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jonhson Jr to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jonhson Jr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Lukyanov tries to close the distance and clinch but Jonhson Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No luck for Lukyanov with that takedown attempt.

Lukyanov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jonhson Jr eats them both and turns towards Lukyanov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jonhson Jr tries to pull guard but Lukyanov won't allow it.

Jonhson Jr shoots in and bounces Lukyanov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lukyanov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jonhson Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
