Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Test Six!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lyoto Machida!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six lands with a good body shot.
Machida takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Six clinches up with Machida and pushes him back against the cage.
Machida pulls guard effortlessly.
Machida bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Six's guard.
Machida wants to control from the top but Six keeps moving.
Six wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Machida drops back looking for a leg! Six is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Six manages to kick Machida off! Machida jumps back into Six's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Six wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida trying to control the position from guard on top but Six is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Six is adopting a defensive guard.
Six avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Six is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Machida seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Six looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Machida throwing strikes from guard but Six blocks nicely.

Machida stops Six from standing up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Some wild striking there from Machida.
Machida takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Machida tries to clinch but Six is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Machida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Six sprawls well. Six wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Machida gets slowly back to his feet.
Six stuffs the takedown.
Six swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Machida shoots for a takedown but Six saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Test Six has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyoto Machida.

Six digs a good body shot into Machida's ribs.
Machida looks winded!
Six cracks Machida with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Six throws a body punch but Machida moves out of range.
Six clinches up against the cage.
Six lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Six lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Machida or not.
Six is leaning against Machida and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Six scores with a nice hook to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Six lands with a light punch inside.
Six lands a body punch.
Six stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Machida takes a shot to the head.
Nice body punch from Six.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Six.
Six lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Machida backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Six.
Six lands with a left to the head.
Six throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Machidas head.
Six lands a nice shot to the body.
Six lands with a right to the head.
Six working some nice short punches in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Test Six dominated that round.
That's time! Six's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Machida shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Six scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lyoto Machida is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Machida fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Six lands a really nice looking cross but Machida seems unphased.
Machida is rocked!
Six fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Machida square on the jaw! Damn, Machida is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
