The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yervoy thuds a left hand into Couture's body.
Couture takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Dan Couture has been cut.
Couture ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

As Yervoy tries to get set, Couture tries to push him back and clinch up but Yervoy manages to avoid the attempt.

Ipilimumab Yervoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture moves into the clinch successfully.
Couture swings wildly with an uppercut but Yervoy uses good head movement to avoid it.

Couture works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

We've been informed that Yervoy has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
