Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Wilmer Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yun Gyu Yeob!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gyu Yeob as he jumps to the side.
And Gyu Yeob tries to counter it with a takedown but Ramsey pushes his down on his head and steps out.
No luck for Ramsey with that takedown attempt.
And Gyu Yeob tries to counter it with a takedown but Ramsey pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ramsey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Gyu Yeob counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ramsey won't be happy with that.

so Gyu Yeob counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ramsey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ramsey has control of Gyu Yeob's left arm, preventing Gyu Yeob from doing any damage.

Ramsey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gyu Yeob defends it easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ramsey is looking to clinch.
Gyu Yeob drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ramsey defends it well.

Ramsey goes for a double leg but Gyu Yeob avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gyu Yeob continues to drive forward.

Gyu Yeob takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ramsey throws a strike but Gyu Yeob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Wilmer Ramsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ramsey shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gyu Yeob sprawls well. Gyu Yeob wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ramsey gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wilmer Ramsey.
I think Ramsey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
