The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maul throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Ulatov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Maul quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ulatov lands a nice short elbow.
Ulatov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Ulatov working Maul over with strikes.
Ulatov is controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ulatov scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Maul pushes Ulatov off looking to stand but Ulatov dives back in and keeps control.

Ulatov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Ulatov seems content to control.
Maul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ulatov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ulatov seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Maul is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
